HA2 NORTH CAROLINA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Rooted in Legacy. United Through Purpose. Empowered to Give.

Our History. Our Legacy. Our Purpose.

Founded in 2023 by Katrina “Kat” Holmes-Dillard, the HA2 North Carolina Alumni Association is a Durham, North Carolina–based nonprofit organization established with one extraordinary purpose: to give, to serve, and to spread the joy of giving.

The Association is an extension of the historic HA2 Chapter 3 “Juke Squad” National Dance Team, an undergraduate dance organization founded in 2003 by Kat Dillard during her time at North Carolina Central University (NCCU).

What began as a vision rooted in dance, discipline, leadership, and unity has evolved into a lasting legacy of service, philanthropy, and community empowerment.

As a student at North Carolina Central University, Kat Dillard established a legacy defined by hard work, unwavering dedication, perseverance, and, above all, the selfless act of giving from a place of genuine love. Her belief that true leadership is measured not only by personal accomplishments but also by the lives we uplift continues to serve as the foundation of the Association.

Our Mission: Giving With Purpose

The HA2 North Carolina Alumni Association exists to uplift, empower, and financially support students and young people who face economic hardship, ensuring that financial circumstances do not become permanent barriers to their education, personal development and future success.
